Search Engine Google Extends its Services Offline PDF Print

Google, one of the leaders in the Internet industry, is now expanding its services to the physical world. The new service, called Google Space, is tested at Terminal One of London’s Heathrow airport. Google space will allow users to log onto the Internet and check e-mails while waiting for their flights.

According to Lorraine Twohill, Google’s European marketing director, testing it on Terminal One would function as a huge focus group. The Google team is considering the Google Space as a means of testing its numerous products to the public.

Tivo to Launch Ad Search Engine PDF Print

Tivo Inc., the creator of television services for digital video recorders and leader in advertising solutions, will widen its horizon by developing an advertising search engine for its digital video recorders.

The development of Tivo’s new product was created with the partnership of leading media and ad agencies such as OMD, Interpublic Media and Comcast Spotlight. This newest feature will be available in spring of 2006.

A prudent traveler knows his way in getting the greatest bargain available. An example of a well known travel search engine over the Internet would be www.kayak.com, which is famed for checking booking resources from discount brokers and airline’s web only fares.
